PORTSMOUTH- Curtis “Tink” Spivey, Jr., 85, of Mimosa Road, died in Maryview Hospital on July 18, 2012 at 8:30 AM. A native of Portsmouth, he retired from Beltline Railroad, served in the Coast Guard, and retired as a professional truck driver in 1990. Tink was a 63 year member of Westhaven Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Betty F. Spivey; step-son, Dennis C. Webb and wife Betty; and brother-in-law, Earnest L. Webb and wife Karen.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 21, at 1 PM in Westhaven Baptist Church by the Rev. Bruce Powers. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Westhaven Baptist Church, 4900 Caroline Ave., Portsmouth, VA 23707.
