Obituary for Rachel Ann Packe

CHESAPEAKE – Rachel Ann Packe, 87, of the 3800 block of Wortham Ct. passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019. She was born on February 26, 1932 in Alliance, Ohio to the late Robert and Rachel Steed; and retired as a paint supervisor from the Crane Company in Ohio after 40 years of service. Rachel was a member of Geneva Park Church of Christ; and she loved the color purple, planting flowers and yard work, but most of all she loved her grandkids. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank T. Packe.

She is survived by her son, James T. Packe and his wife Bonnie; a grandson, Jason K. Packe and his wife Andrea; and three great grandchildren, Kali, Victor and Izabella.

A funeral will be held at 2 PM Sunday, December 1, 2019 in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel by Rev. Roger Marvell. Burial will be private in Highland Memorial Park in Beloit, Ohio. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6 – 7:30 PM.
